How Did I Discover Cryptocurrency and Why I Choose BitcoinCash

How Did I Discover Cryptocurrency and Why I Choose BitcoinCash.
One of the first questions always asked in the Crypto sphere is how did you learn about Bitcoin? Then followed up by which coin or coins do you hold?
The answer to this first question is not as easy to answer as you would think. Right before the split between Bitcoin and BitcoinCash I met someone very involved in the community we were discussing how I became a libertarian which naturally lead us to a discussion about economic freedom, Ross Ulbricht and then Bitcoin. The following day I ran home and researched Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht. Five minutes later, I had signed the petition. My interest was piqued, I started to do my own research in regards to Bitcoin. I bought several books but all that did was confuse me more. I started watching YouTube videos and remember thinking to myself “who are these people” and “are they even speaking English” but I kept researching determined to learn about economic freedom, I just couldn’t grasp how someone could gain economic freedom with online money.
Fast forward to the Bitcoin/BitcoinCash fork, I knew this was a big deal but I didn’t know what was going to happen. So I called my friend and set up another time to meet, well this time I was prepared I had my notes laid out from the books I had read and I was pretty proud of myself after all Bitcoin is not easy to understand with words like nodes, Raspberry Pi's (what does pie have to do with economic freedom), miners, QR's, checkpoints, lightning (still waiting) and why only 21 million and do I have to buy a full coin? I mean this list goes on (after all I am much older than the usual crypto enthusiast) little did I know I had already entered the rabbit hole and from the look I received from my friend he knew it. So after 2 days that was it, I needed to get my hands on Bitcoin.
As soon as I got home I joined Coinbase and I saw a few coins listed and thought Bitcoin is really expensive and I can get 4 times the amount with this coin called Litecoin so I put in a buy order for that, Etherum and BitcoinCash. I had never been a huge fan of Social Media but at this time I decided I needed to join Twitter to see what others were experiencing and oh God what a jolt to the senses that was. Everyone tweeting why this and that coin is bad and this person is bad and that person is good, Crypto Twitter can be a shit show especially in the beginning and being new to both Twitter and Crypto my brain was in overload. I followed my friend on Twitter and just started to pay attention to him and basically began stalking his feed and Youtube channel but I never really engaged (I truly felt like a stalker). But I was learning my way around and who did what in their relative fields.
As everyone knows Coinbase can be very frustrating because it seems like forever before you have access to your coins and the whole time I’m thinking what have I done? So a month went by and I finally received an email saying my funds are now available in Coinbase I opened up that app and to my surprise, my money had just quadrupled. I had learned while investing once you make back your initial investment sell that portion and that is exactly what I did! But the damage had been done I was hooked and immediately took that initial investment and bought every altcoin I could get my hands on via Binance, which can seriously do some damage to your wallet.
I still really did not know what to do with Cryptocurrency, there were all these wallets, but why were they needed if all it did was sit there like digital gold. So I started to engage with people on Twitter to discover what others were doing, I didn’t have any followers so outside of a few likes here and there I would never really get any feedback. I asked my friend about this and he started to respond to me and soon after that, others started to respond to me, then I was included in threads and I had my first Crypto Twitter follower, he was no joke and little did I know at that time how much of an influence this person would have in my Twitter and Crypto life. But Crypto Twitter will have to be its own story.
As I started to learn how to navigate my way through Crypto Twitter and began to understand the correct questions to ask I began to get the answers I needed. These questions amounted to where/who accepts crypto and why is this coin better than that coin? The people that came forward were the BitcoinCash community, I couldn’t understand why was it only the BitcoinCash people that would respond to me, after all, there are so many coins out there? But these were the people that had a passion for what they were doing and believed in that passion, from the CEO to the developers down to the end user. It was like a breath of fresh air to find people passionate about rewarding hard work and not caring about who you are and which country you are from along with giving back to communities that are far less fortunate by no fault of their own they just don’t have access to resources that are available to Western Nations, Europe, and Asia. I discovered the philanthropic work was incredible and still to this day I still am overwhelmed by how much the BitcoinCash community does and feel very fortunate to be a part of it.
Downloading wallet after wallet, I discovered some were easy some were difficult and well some were just ridiculous. I started to tag random developers on Twitter and honestly was surprised when they responded to me and offered their help after all these are really busy people why would they take the time to help one person. The reason is simple they want Cryptocurrency to be a success and they understand how difficult it is, especially for an older person who just got her first smartphone 2 years earlier. After learning about the importance of 12-word seed phrases how a QR code works and legacy addresses I now felt comfortable enough to begin introducing people to cryptocurrency and more importantly BitcoinCash. Little did I know how difficult this would be, I mean who doesn’t want money even if it’s free.
After months of interaction on Twitter and other platforms, I decided I needed to do something besides just talking about Crypto I needed to shout it from the rooftops. I desperately wanted to find others around me that I could share my experiences with so I created a Meetup in my area and began talking about it at work with my friends and family I just started telling everyone I ran into have you heard about BitcoinCash? “No” here let me show you” inevitably I started to hear oh that’s for drug dealers or it’s a scam. So now I thought how do I get past this obstacle that CNN and Fox News has put in front of me? I became more determined than ever to beat them at their own game. I had another hurdle to jump, so my path now came to what is an everyday product I can buy with Bitcoincash? Well, there are tons you just have to find them, and since my area of the country is about 10 years behind the rest of the country this was very difficult. But one thing I do a lot is travel and I was about to buy a plane ticket so I found CheapAir.com which accepts BitcoinCash, so I used that and discovered how easy it is, I can literally lay in bed find a flight and/or a hotel and right there without turning on the lights or getting up for my credit card number. What about overcoming only drug dealers use it (which my stepmom throws in my face almost every day) so for Christmas I purchased her some beauty products with BitcoinCash. I am constantly scouring the internet looking for more ways to spend Crypto instead of government-funded cash.
My meetups started out with 2 people 1 of which was my dad to 12 strong and growing (which does not include my dad). That may not seem like many but those 12 people have become strong and confident users of Cryptocurrency and one of them even accepts BitcoinCash for his business.
My story does not end here, and with every day there is a change with some great, some good and some not so good stories. Keep your eyes out for updates to my never ending and exciting Crypto life.

How Did I Discover Cryptocurrency and Why I Choose BitcoinCash

Javvy Crypto Solution

https://preview.redd.it/kh4dynrh60d21.png?width=269&format=png&auto=webp&s=cc24355c32b20722eb28e744380eddd10e5c0d01
In one or two sentences, tell us about the system and its economic model Javvy is a secure, comprehensive crypto wallet with built-in decentralized crypto exchange aggregator solution (not web-based) that will support all expected operations for ALL major cryptocurrencies and tokens. Javvy will earn revenue from the tried-and-true method of fees on buy/sell transactions, conversion fees, KYC/AML/Accreditation verification services, international debit card fees, and merchant settlement fees. The Javvy app is currently available on Windows and mobile (iOS and Android), with Linux and Mac planned shortly after funding.
What problem are you solving? The lack of a consolidated and intuitive crypto solution simple enough for mass adoption.
Who are your competitors? Who might become competitors? Binance, Coinbase, Blockchain.info. Others have even weaker offerings but there are many smaller competitors.
What are the main challenges your project will face in the next 1-3 years? Educating mainstream that the wallet should be the first and last foray into crypto. Users should not worry about finding or trusting unproven crypto exchanges, which are mostly web-based and insecure. They should simply be able to install the Javvy application and immediately begin buying, selling, managing, and using all major cryptocurrencies within a single, safe, and secure application.
Tell us what you know about your target users. The early adopters will be crypto-savvy users, likely already using competing exchanges and wallets. Eventually, we will expand into mainstream markets, due to the ease-of-use of our solution that other exchanges and wallets have failed to provide –despite hundreds of millions invested and many years to do so.
What’s new about what you’re doing? Not web-based (more secure). Everything required for most crypto uses within a single, secure application. Support all cryptos/tokens. Consolidating crypto exchanges and wallets so that users don’t need to search for both and learn about how everything works (it should just work). Users should be able to simply install an app on any device or desktop and begin using crypto. This is Javvy.
What is the purpose of the token? The Javvy token will give token holders the option to use JVY tokens to pay buy/sell/convert fees for a 50% discount. Additionally, tokens may be “staked” to provide liquidity to the network and earn more tokens in return.
Could it be done with Ethereum or Bitcoin? Why or Why not? What’s useful about a separate token? No. A solution such as Javvy’s requires significant investment into application development, regulatory and compliance research, etc.
What stage of development are you in? (research, development, launched, etc.) MVP released on July 4th, 2018, with numerous improvements and features added since then. We currently provide apps for Windows, iOS, and Android. Mac and Lunix versions will be added shortly after funding.
What traction does your project have? Despite putting 99% of our funds into product development and legal research, our initial small marketing push went viral, with a huge outpouring of positive sentiment across the crypto community. After Javvy went viral, our Telegram community grew from 190 to over 38,000 in less than a week (15,000 in under 24 hours!). Those who joined have tentatively pledged ~$5MM USD of our $8MM USD max cap already. During the “private sale” phase, we have already surpassed our soft cap and are in negotiations now with ICO pools. Our CEO, Brandon Elliott, has spoken at numerous pitch events and conferences (invited and upgraded for free; not paid sponsorship). In addition to going viral, Javvy has been featured on national radio and is scheduled to air on Fox Business Worldwide with Kathy Ireland on Nov 4, 10, and 11… with a longer feature segment airing late November. Javvy will be the first crypto venture to receive mainstream media attention, especially on worldwide Television (North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia) to over 400 million household viewers.

"The Big Picture" - Dollar Vigilante November Newsletter

It has been an interesting week for me.
First, I was invited to speak at World Crypto CON in Las Vegas and then shortly before the event they told me I couldn’t speak. At the same time they told most of my other anarchist friends they also couldn’t speak and/or they were banned from the event, including Ben Swann, Luke Rudkowski and Josh Sigurdson of World Alternative Media.
I was already in Texas for the Texas Bitcoin Conference and I mostly just wanted to play in their crypto poker tournament anyway so I went to Vegas.
All manner of strange people seemed to be coming up to me, including one woman speaking in tongues. And, a weird energy surrounded the event... so much so that my body was shaking the entire time.
Then they also didn’t allow me to play in the poker event! I paid one guy some BTC to buy his chips and they threatened to call the police on me! I know what happens next when that happens so I left the premises.
Later that night, Josh Sigurdson was poisoned and barely survived. Other anarchists I knew who were there were being accosted, having their phones stolen and other aggressions.
I should mention this all occurred on Halloween. Day of the dead. Whatever happened, karma struck instantly and no one showed up! I then got a message from my wife that she wanted me to come home immediately and I was happy to do so.
She told me that God told her that we had to tell everyone to repent immediately before it was too late and she went into two days of screaming, crying and became delirious after three days without eating or sleeping.
Eventually we had to get her to the hospital to get her calmed down. I’ve spent the last two days with her there and we just returned home as they gave her a number of things to relax her.
Is something strange going on? It sure feels like it. In any case, as I stated in the last newsletter, no matter what happens I am just going to continue on with my work (although spending more time with my family is also a priority) helping people to wake up... that’s all I can do.
Current Events
As I write it is the midterm selections in the USSA. Yet another, “most important election in our lifetime.” All fear propaganda to try to make believe that voting will fix this evil system of slavery. It won’t. But, when they say this is the "election of our lifetimes" they are right on one thing. Politics, central banks and government are very close to destroying the entire world.
Elect to walk away from it all now before it is too late. I know I don’t have to tell TDVers that but it is worth reiterating.
And, the results are in. Anarchy won like it has every single selection.
And the wars continue killing or destroying the lives of millions of innocents, Americans continue to get extorted for trillions of dollars per year, millions of innocents remain in cages in rape camps and the Federal Reserve continues to impoverish and steal from everyone.
Meanwhile, in things that actually matter, the battle over bitcoin has hastened dramatically. But, you wouldn’t know it from the price action.
The complete lack of volatility has only gotten worse (or better if you are in the “volatility is bad for bitcoin” camp).
Here is a chart of bitcoin on October 27th.
For a 24 hour period it traded within a $15 band! It’s like the whole world is just waiting to see what happens next.
And, what will happen next? I am still expecting a panic sell-off along with all worldwide markets followed by a price explosion.
We did make it through October without that happening, but I have pointed out November is also a prime month for it to occur. If nothing major occurs in November then I may have to reassess.
The US stock markets continue to hang in there but really only propped up by a minority of stocks as this tweet from early October points out.
Bank stocks, which are probably one of the most important to watch are off 17% from January of this year.
Meanwhile, crypto exchange Binance made more profit than Deutsche Bank in the second quarter of this year!
As I said last issue, things really couldn’t be going better for the cryptospace, right as it appears that bank stocks and the market as a whole is on the verge of collapse.
On October 26th, the CEO of Visa, Al Kelly, said that he “certainly” does not view cryptocurrencies as a threat to his business right now, but added that “if we have to go there, we’ll go there.”
You’ll have to go there Kelly... better start working on your resume. Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is about to release its first blockchain-powered handset in cryptocurrencies, making it the first big name in the industry to accept only digital currencies as payment.
Exodus 1, the first version of HTC’s blockchain phone, is priced at 0.15 BTC or 4.78 ETH, which in current trading equates to about US$960.
HTC first announced the Exodus phone in May, which features a built-in digital wallet that will enable users to store and trade cryptocurrencies.
But, the game changing news is that ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has announced they will launch their new digital asset platform, Baakt, on December 12th. This will enable traditional institutional investors to easily invest into the bitcoin market.
The total bitcoin market right now is about a $110 billion market cap.
Total value of financial asset worldwide is estimated to be over $300 trillion. Which means bitcoin is only 0.03% of total financial assets held in the world.
If, say, only 1% of that $300 trillion were to go into bitcoin, that would mean $3 trillion would be trying to enter a market worth $100 billion.
In other words, if you don’t own bitcoin and other cryptos by December 12th... don’t do that. And, don’t forget precious metals either.
FinIst analyst Denis Lisitsyn recently said on RT, “The aggressive US policy in recent years has forced some countries to look for an alternative to the dollar and replenish their gold reserves. Worries about the future growth of global economy are an additional incentive for purchases. Many question Donald Trump’s protectionism.”
Sounds like he has been listening to TDV’s Ed Bugos!
In the same article, Vladimir Rojankovsky, LIFA, expert at the International Financial Center said that Hungary, Poland, Russia, China, India, Turkey and Saudi Arabia are all hoarding gold.
This, after Russian ownership of US Treasury bonds dropped from $96.1 billion in March to an 11-year low of $14.9 billion in May.
The writing is on the wall. And almost the entire public has no idea what is happening.
Luckily you do, so stick with us here as we give you are best guidance on how to survive and prosper during and after the dollar collapse.
And get right with your family and God. I’ve had a few moments in the last week where I thought it might be all over and each time I felt despondent knowing I still haven’t done enough. Don’t wait too long.
Coming Events
Due to my wife being in the hospital recently I cancelled going to Steemfest in Poland. I was also going to go to Iran and Iraq on that trip. But, I’ve decided family has to come before work in this respect.
Which means, really, my next major events are close to home with the TDV Summit on February 12-13th and Anarchapulco/Cryptopulco from February 14-17th.
I couldn’t help notice that World Crypto Con, which seemed to be out to kill all of us anarchists, was on October 31st and Anarchapulco starts on Valentine’s Day. Because it is really all about love.
If you haven’t checked out the TDV Summit page lately, check it out. We’ve added a number of great speakers and I still have a few surprises to announce. It is two full days this year and I am able to focus on it fully for the first time as we have a professional management team running Anarchapulco now. And, included in the price is a gala dinner to be held on the evening of February 12th.
And, Anarchapulco just released its main stage speaker list (there will be 5 stages this year). It’s quite the list! Jeffrey Tucker - Anarchapulco Master of Ceremonies

There are even more announcements soon, including Larken Rose and many more. And, we haven’t announced the Cryptopulco speaker list yet. It should come out in the next week. You won’t want to miss it.
Anarchapulco will likely sell out by January. And all 1,000 rooms in the Princess Hotel are already close to sold out, so if you want to stay on premises, make sure to book your room now. If you miss it, don’t worry, we’ll likely be filling up a hotel nearby down the beach too!
And, don’t worry about what might happen in the future. Live in the present. Own some precious metals and cryptocurrency. Work on yourself, physically, mentally and spiritually. And spend more time with your loved ones.
Everything else will work itself out.
Now, I’m going to go watch Lord of the Rings with my wife and kids. “Hey kids, did you know that ring of power is an allegory for central banks and government?”

Crypto Safety Education Series #4: Combat phishing scams - How social media scams works and how to avoid them

Note: this is the fourth part of an ongoing crypto safety educational series. Other parts of the series are
part 1 of the series to understand how domain works.
part 2 of the series on how to identify and avoid ads phishing scams
part 3 of the series on how to identify and avoid email phishing scams
Yep, crypto social media phishing, especially twitter phishing scams, are out of control. Browse Ethereum co-founder Vitalik’s twitter profile or Binance’s CEO Changpeng’s twitter profile you will see they have been the target of so many twitter impersonators that they literally have to update their names to Vitalik "Not giving away ETH" Buterin and CZ (not giving crypto away).
Twitter’s CEO Jack Dorsey have admitted to the problem and said that the team are implementing measures to prevent crypto scams.
Whether or not Twitter’s solution will work is yet to be seen. But meanwhile we can always equip ourselves with the best weapon - knowledge.
Some of the most popular social media scams go beyond standard phishing scam practices. According to our research and analysis, we have identified 4 main ways scammers use social media to defraud users: Impersonation, Ponzi/HYIP and ICO scam promotion, Malware distribution, and Chatroom scams. Below we will briefly walk through how each one works.
1. Impersonation of Established Company or Person
This is SO extremely common for any established crypto-related companies or figures that you can find a dozen of imposters just by clicking through replies of most established companies or person’s any single tweet.
Coinbase pinned this tweet that provides a perfect example of how twitter scams works. Imposters will commonly post tweets that they are giving away free coins in exchange for a small deposit.
They will then use hundreds of bots account to post fake claims that they have send money and indeed received free coins in return. *THEY ARE 100% FAKE.
When Binance was down due to maintenance this past Feb, scammers went all out. One of the Binance twitter imposter collected over $10,000 in matter of hours in its ether wallet.
4 signs for fake twitter profile. If a twitter profile meet all 4 below points, it is a fake profile pretending to be someone they are not.
Account name is the same as a popular cryptocurrency exchange, wallet, news or public figure, but twitter handle contains misspelling. Account has a low number of followers (< 1k) Account has a short account history (within the last couple months or days) Account lacks a verified badge
2. Ponzi/HYIP and ICO scams Promotion
Do you want to become rich overnight and earn 100x returns on your investment within months?
Hard to say no to that, right?
That is how many Ponzi, High Yield Investment Programs and ICO scams attract investors’ attention - by promising no risk and ludicrous investment returns in an extremely short amount of time.
Cryptocurrency holders are risk takers who have high-risk tolerance since one would need a strong stomach to weather through the crypto market swings. That is also the exact reason scammers identify crypto investors as the perfect target for investment scams.
Scammers will use social media, often offering promoters referral perks as incentives, to spread links to their websites that promise high investment returns.
These types of promotional messages can spread like wildfire on social media since platforms like Twitter and Facebook make sharing easy with a click of a button. Many people are drawn to the potential referral earnings and end up spreading malicious links.
It’s easy to avoid getting caught in this type of scam on social media - don’t be greedy. No one will give you way above market average returns with no substantial risks involved.
If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
3. Malware Distribution
Embedding viruses and malware into popular downloads is an old and common hacking technique. Crypto scammers certainly do not miss out on this proven method to steal coins.
Scammers distribute malware through mining software that claims it will help you to make money during your sleep or through desktop wallets that can “safely store” your crypto assets. Once you download the software, it will unpack malware that can steal all sorts of information from your computer, including your wallet’s private key.
Look at this one example of just how much malware were contained in one downloadable mining software reported on ZeroFox.
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
4. Send Scams Through Chatroom Messages
There are few ways one can be deceived through chat services. Some chat services, such as Slack, allow users to share the same display names, which can cause confusion and make it difficult to tell the impersonator apart from the crowd.
Many messaging services also use standard formatting for chat messages, which allows a user to embed a different URL in a messaged link that is different than the text displayed.
For example, in a case reported on International Business Times, a slack user warned another group member of an attack on MyEtherWallet to distribute a phishing link, shown in this screenshot.
If you click on the link that looks to be the official URL for MyEtherWallet, you will be redirected to a phishing site aimed to steal your credentials.
How to avoid chat room scams? Do not trust easily, and always verify the information from other popular sources. Scammers love to use FUD tactics to mislead innocent investors.
Here at Crypto Aware, we have recently compiled a list of official URLs and social media profiles of popular cryptocurrency exchanges and cryptocurrency wallets.
P.S If you are the victim of a cryptocurrency social media phishing scam, please report your case to us here. Here at Crypto Aware we are establishing the First Responder Network for crypto-related scams. Your reports will remain anonymous, we will relate your report to related platforms if necessary and will relate them to the crypto communities here at Reddit and elsewhere.

[uncensored-r/BitcoinMarkets] IoT Chain - a new gem on the bottom of the ocean.

The following post by WhiskyVishera is being replicated because the post has been silently removed.

The original post's content was as follows:
post link: https://71republic.com/2017/12/23/the-iota-of-china-how-iot-chain-itc-is-securing-the-internet-of-things/
Today, the internet is all around us. Constantly updating and transacting, it lives in many of the things we interact with on a daily basis and will only grow in use case and market size heading into the future. By the year 2020, experts assert that IoT (Internet of Things) will consist of close to 30 billion interconnected objects with a total market cap expected to swell over $8 trillion dollars. Coined by Kevin Ashton, the British technology pioneer and co-founder of MIT’s infamous Auto-ID Center, IoT is a term that defines the connection between all objects from a cup of coffee, to the table it sits upon and the house you live in. By 2025 almost ever object is expected to be an intellectualized ‘smart network’ tied to a stream of data requiring each their own IoT operating system that relays and synchronizes networks in a fast and cost-effective way. The Singapore based startup IoT Chain (https://iotchain.io/) aims to be the go-to platform for this massive new ecosystem of virtualized physical reality. Dubbed “a high-security lite IoT OS,” IoT Chain (or call sign $ITC) seeks to provide a safe, secure platform that protects against Botnet attacks of user data while lowering the prohibitive cost of centralized architecture by utilizing blockchain technology.
Currently, trading on the Singapore exchange Huobi (Huobi ITC/BTC) and the Chinese exchange OKEX (https://www.okex.com/), ITC has maintained strong volume and stability for investors since its introduction to the market in early December. After raising $15 million dollars in a private fundraising round this Fall, IoT Chain’s market cap (IOT Chain Marketcap) has already X3 in value and is currently hovering around $50 million dollars. The industry standard at the moment, IOTA, has a current valuation of close to $12 Billion dollars proving both the need for platforms in this space and also the sizeable market that looks set to greatly expand in the coming decades. ITC’s circulating supply is 50 million tokens with another 50 million locked-up to prevent extreme price fluctuations. Recently, IoT Chain announced a partnership with Acute Angle Cloud one of the leaders in the globally distributed cloud computing field and also reached a strategic cooperation with Adzar Energy to work on building a clean energy market using the blockchain.
The company is led by CEO Xie Zhuopeng, a blockchain professional who has been engaged in the smart hardware field for half a decade. Their CFO, Zhao Tan, holds an MBA from MIT China and was the former Asia Pacific CFO of Kerry where he oversaw the hedging of millions of dollars across foreign exchanges. ITC’s advisory team consists of Liang Ran, co-founder of RippleFox and Ji Xinhua, an expert in credit card encryption and winner of first prize for Shanghai’s science and technology advancement award. They are backed by large investments from some of China’s strongest blockchain incubators including FBG Capital (funders of OmiseGo & 0X Decentralized Exchange) and Link Capital Finance boasting over 40 years of experience specializing in developmental finance. Other partnerships include Shanghai High Flying Electronics, Shenzhen Galaxywind Network, Shanghai BeTiger Network and Telink Semiconductor.
IoT Chain has identified two major challenges to the IoT market that they intend to solve. First, ITC tackles issues of security to objects within the IoT ecosystem. ITC’s whitepaper highlights the effects of The Botnet of Things or a massively connected network of computers which are capable of utilizing DDOS (Direct Denial of Service) to shutter popular websites and internet-based applications around the world. With smart hardware filling our homes in the coming century, the implications of malevolent botnet networks used against the community or individual user becomes a looming concern. This past year we witnessed major outages to the influential and gigantic American websites Twitter & Netflix with the trend set to continue heading into 2018. To combat this, IoT Chain has adopted asymmetrical encryption that keeps data from being cracked even if it is collected. Further, all of the nodes in ITC are equal helping to protects users’ privacy. Secondly, the ITC team points to the high cost of centralized architecture that is currently keeping the Internet of Things from achieving mainstream adoption. Similar to issues faced in the growing field of A.I. and throughout the greater blockchain space, these platforms must be able to function with speed and efficiency or else risk poor adoption from the public. IoT Chain promises scalability and a massive node network to meet the demands of data storage in a convenient and cost-efficient through the blockchain.
2018 looks to be a big year for IoT Chain as their roadmap outlines several key events that should boost ITC’s valuation and establish their platform as a major player in the greater cryptocurrency space. Their main-chain testing stage has already begun and a wallet client looks to be ready for Q2 of 2018. They expect their main-chain wallet to be finished by May and then will begin work on their DAG network with the final main net coming online after NYE of 2018. From an investment standpoint, IoT Chain is relatively unknown in the West and has yet to make it to Western markets although the asset is currently rumored to land on Binance. In terms of competitors, IoT Chain features the lowest market cap of all DAG networks and is considerably cheaper than similar platforms. ITC is currently valued at $50 million vs. StreamR at $170m, ByteBall $400m, RailBlocks $460m and of course, Iota at $13 billion.
You can find more information about IoT Chain on their growing telegram group (IoT Chain Telegram) that already features close to 4,000 users with barely any coming from the Americas or Europe. I believe the IoT Chain team possess the relevant experience and resources to corner a substantial part of the IoT marketplace. Chinese investors have shown a tendency towards sovereignty with companies and products from the region and IoT Chain should be no different. Where NEO is the Asian counterpart to Ethereum, so too can IoT Chain become the IOTA of China. When investors outside China learn about this platform, I expect to see a sharp rise in price and at the current value of $50 million dollars I think the risk/reward is highly in favor of the investor and anticipate this platform will soar in value when it eventually finds its way into Western markets in the early months of 2018. The future of society is manifesting in front of our eyes and the demand for low-cost architecture to connect devices and stimulate functionality grows rapidly every day. When we get there we will want to ensure the safety and security of those devices and the data they collect. IoT Chain looks to be one of the investment opportunities of next year and the time to invest is soon before the token finds its way onto exchanges with higher volume and new wallets. As always, I highly recommend researching the asset fully and formulating your own opinion before investing but recognize the huge upside that this platform represents. So you tell me… IoT Chain, the IOTA of China?
